View Full Version : Teamspeak!!!!!1!!!?!?!?!?

Its become apparent that this plays a pivotal role in our clan matches and mine is broken.

For some reason everytime i boot up the program it mutes EVERYTHING, inc. itself. ive tried several reinstalls (deleting folder, control panel, programs auto uninstall) and whenever i reinstall it, it has the same problem, but it stores all my preferences somewhere and im sure if i can find where, delete it, and then reinstall i might fix the problem, i just cant find the save file. Any ideas.

i know its compatible as it worked before
it all went wrong when i accidentaly muted my incoming and now it wont mend

but if any1 knows how to fix it or where this damn file is stored ill be quite happy and stuff

os is 2k and yes my soundcard is full duplex like i said it worked before

its probably in the registary.

have u got the latest drivers for said sound card?

yep

as i said it worked fine till i accidentaly pressed a button in teamspeak and now its fubared

just cant find the file in the registery

i found 1 file and deleted it but it made no difference the preferences were still there

c:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\teamspeak2\TeamSpeak.conf... perhaps?

When you hit mute in TS (in or out) it mutes, but to unmute you check mute again. Sometimes it's the simplest things - check it out.

Also open your windows sound thingy when using TS to see about the in/out mute status

unfortunately ive tried both those ideas NJ and everything is set to play as normal (no mutes anywhere)

when i hit the mute buton in ts bvark spotted it and asked me wtf so i changed it back IMMEDIATELY but with no sound ????

the moral of this story is never use a program where the support page directs u to an irc channel full of idiots (damn #teamspeak)

I have some problems with teamspeak including my microphone being turned off by it. To fix it I have to reinstall TS every time just before I use it.

ive uninstalled and it returns with same prob ?!?!?!??!

recently installed new patch but that does no good either

right im on patch 22

and its still mute

am i going to be able to play a match without having teamspeak working
