ok i purchased the full version yesterday,

-load times take for ever (map changes etc)

-its JeRkY even on my relativly good pc with the same graphics settings that ran fine in the demo version (1800 xp gfce3ti200)
(ordered more memmory for it yesterday to see that helps only have 256 atm, ddr pc2700 tho)

-the bots on your team are stupid, whilst the enemy bots do indeed hack imo....supreme accuracy over emense distance and can tell where you are going to appear lol.

-and the most annoying thing is....all smoke looks green on my pc!!!! does any one else get this? bazooka smoke/ explosions/ fires...its all green!!!!!!

I imagine more RAM would be beneficial as on my pc, taskmanager shows it using 220-260 meg, so 256 might cause a few problems (im aware some other people with that much ram get virtual memory problems as a result of lack of hdd space, so perhaps the effect of using the hdd for ram when there isnt enough is causing the jerkyness). I get a few problems with smoothness, but I put them down to a 900 athlon.

The green smoke apopears when you are running the game in 16-bit colour. Up it to 32 and it should be fine.

My Specs:

PIII850
512 pc133
GF4 Ti 4200 128mb

Suprisingly (note the processor) the game runs like a dream :D Even if I have 14 bots running around. I'm gonan try it with a few more later.

Strange thing is that itis only jerky in singleplayer mode, multiplayer is fine

That's not strange at all, considering you're not running AI in multiplayer, and the server is handling unit positions. Your machine is only giving client information, and doesn't have to do client and server when you're on another server.

loading times are slow, although i havent had too many problems, but my mate seems to sit there forever trying to connect. I dont get green smoke, but i have 512 ddr ram, and about 40gb of hd space. My gf3ti200 runs everything at top with no lag, and im on a xp1600. not jerky for me, but i think im just lucky, as ive heard many people having the same prob. More ram is the answer it think

Equipped with a 1400 athalon 256 ddr and a Gf3ti200 here and runs smooth in single and multiplayer at 1024 with anything up to 200% of bots (works out to about 22/24 bots i think)

see what you mean about the AI, but i guess its a multiplayer based game. stop playing the bots and get onto the multiplayer UK server and play the game proper.

The most annoying thing about the game is the constant Cd-checking. the game draws no files from the Cd, but checks its in the drive all the time (whenever it flashes up the black screen with the picture of the tank running over the german helmet). it will do this everytime i want to connect to a server, meaning by the time the loading screen has appeared...my spot on the server has gone....oh for a working no cd fix eh?

cant w8 for 64 player Berlin/Stalingrad/Midway at i-14.....gonna be sooo good :D

See you on the beaches....but you'd better not steal the tank ive just driven around for 10 mins in :)

I can't help but notice that some ppl have a great PC and it runs like a dog and others have a low spec PC and it runs fine.

Well here's the reason - just cause you've got a powerful PC doesnt mean that you can max out all teh graphics settings ffs!

Lower the res, lower the detail and it'll run like a dream, like on all the ppl that play with lower spec machines.

Saying that - does sound like you need lots of RAM still though

Oh and I have a powerful PC and I run max detail in 1024 with 2xAA - like a dream ;)

I've noticed the same about PC spec's.

I have an Athlon 750, 192Mb Ram and a GF2 Ultra, nothing special, in fact down right out of date. Yet I run it in 1024 32bit with medium graphics options and its is all fine. I get no lag and generally find it very playable.

Strange eh?

Stick the sound quality onto medium, sorted out my jerkiness, runs like a dream now.
