Does anyone know what kind of anti-piracy protection the game has? Cause I have managed to obtain a *cough*"perfectly legal" copy and I find that most servers disconnect me, although I can still connect to some servers (seemingly random)...
Any help would be appreciated
ps. Don't flame me for warezing.. I leave for uni on sunday and I don't think I'll be able to play it there so I didnt wanna buy it as the single player is pants. If I can play it at uni I'll buy it :p

Most servers probably disconnected you for having a different version in essence. No doubt the full version will bring with it new dedicated servers.

It probably checks the cdkey with a master server e.g. Quake 3.
So to play online your need a valid CD Key. That would be my guess anyways

Rar yes i have new gamne- worth every penny. This is the first game i've bought since Half Life
Buy this game whether u like it or not: the coders deserve some money for this completely new area of teamplay (ignoring Codename Eagle).
Go buy the game...

You'll find those clever people that make keygens aren't that clever :)
Dice allow a way to make working cd keys, atm they all start with 4 numbers, the next patch all these will not work since none of these numbers are on the actual retail copies.
those that have warez copies
a) have to keep changing there cd key every time theres a new patch
b) you cannot play online
Similar to half life :)

there have to be hacks!?
otherwise the only time i will be able to play is when the price falls to around £9.99 and even then i will need to save up another £9.50
I will probably be gettiong a copy next week, so im going to start praying that someone has reverse engineered he copy protection and then rebuilt it missing certain features, otherwise ill have to stick to the Demo.
