Clan war vs Relic - Tomorrow (Tuesday 17th)

Hi Folks,

#relic.bf have challenged us to a clan war at 21:15 BST tomorrow night, 8 vs 8, on the MPUK server.

Again this is an 8 vs 8. I think the fairest way to ensure other clan members get a game is to ask for people who _didn't_ play on Sunday to step forward.
Ice and Wildthing get first refusal, since they had to sit out Sunday.

Zakalwe will likely be the commander, Boff and I will sit out to let more people play.

well i would be able to play but i think it would just piss me off on this 56k ****e,..

i think it would be best for the team if i were to wait untill i get ISDN installed b4 i start playing clan games, shouldnt be too long gonna order ISDN today i hope. but i can still play if your short of players, i would suggest you keep me as a reserve untill i get a decent ping. :D

Hmm, groo and gifted can't play, andyf has started on the vodka, and we need more players (up to 10), so the following players are pencilled in.

If we can't make that number, Lyn will trial, then bootz, then eskimo will play, then I'll play.
If we can't even get that many I'll ask in #multiplay :)

At least for the next couple of weeks, and until the squad reaches 'steady state', I expect we'll have a lot of situations like this where we're not sure how many people the opposition will field or who is available on our side.

I'd like to thank y'all in advance for your patience and flexibility in being able to turn up - it's good to see most folks are taking disappointment and selection with good grace. Keep it up!

PS I ovelrocked my Duron ehnough so that in 640x480 that BF1942 is msooth but has contstant jerks every 2 seconds or so.. anyoen elser have that probe>

We couldn't get the server password changed to lock out non-clan members, so we had to cancel.

so if its ok....although being accepted to MPUK , i will fill out my verbal agreement and play for relic (if they still need me) in the rescheduled match. and then pledge my alligence to the MPUK squad. (i agreed to play for relic in this 1 match before hearing i had been accepted by MPUK.)
