and on that note, how does a LAN get supported by MPUK (I don't run my own LAN btw..)

If you have a LAN you would like supported by MPUK (free hosting, advertising, free forum on our 2.5 million hits/month forum, etc.) then please talk to me. It's not all one way, and we do ask for a bit of promotion in return... but of great benefit to the LANs who have already been a part of the scheme.

In essence, it allows us to give something back to the grass roots LAN scene. A bigger smaller LAN scene can only be good for the LAN scene in general, and encourage more people to attend the larger parties.

I thought he'd have noticed that the forum hits had gone down since I lost my job and had to visit the forums though a modem, therefore waiting longer for the threads to load :D
