to be fair q3 ended many peoples enjoyment of the quake series.....i guess what im trying to say is q1+2 were great single and multiplayer games , where as q3 simply sucks! same with ut except that was always poor.

q3 is not dead. q3 is also better than q2 and q1.

I love q3 because it is fast and I get great pings online. I haven't played online for a while but I want to start again, I am actually creating a clan atm so if anyone is interested just mail (r3plica@hanson-logistics.com) me and i'll set up with a trial. If you are good enough! then you can join.

Although Im at uni now so I havent played anything online for over 2 months I could probably be called a cs player. But it did really start to bore me after 2 years of it.

I like UT and q3 (strange?) I personally I dont think Im bad on public UT instagib servers (didnt do so bad at i10).

Quake 3 has nearly been the only game i played this StratLAN. had some great games instagib CTF is great fun

Yeah but no offence piddle. you use a mac. they arent exactly paragons of gaming... UT and Q3 are about the only multiplayer games youve got.

(doesnt stop me -really- wanting a mac to replace my pc.)

well lets take a look at this shall I.

I love q3a (and ra3) but I play all games and am pretty good at all of them.

tfc, cs, flf, nwn, bf1942, ut, ut2003, yuri, bg, bg2, and the list goes on....

But ra3 and q3a are just leagues ahead of most games....it is the speed (ppl need to have great reaction skills just to play)

I play in fov 120 cause it makes the game faster....
ut2003 is nice looks good, but is too slow.....

thats where ra3 takes the good **** out of q3a and creates an ace mod...back in the early days I hated it cuase i couldn't get used to all the weapons.....now I love it and can hold my own.....

neone that thinks q3a is **** is because they simply haven't played it enough...and they should!
