what sort of specification are you after i can usually find cheap laptops. oooOOoo whats that falling off the back of that lorry? (only joking, not dodgy, i know some people who buy old company laptops when they upgrade.)

looking for somethin coming in at around 800Mhz, with 128MB ram and a relatively large HDD(cd writer/dvd drive would be nice, but not essential)
and who cares if its dodgy!!!as long as its CHEAP!!

ill enquire for you but companies dont tend to replace 800mhz laptops yet they just give them to people lower down in the company, They tend to get rid of any thing up to 500mhz....still you never know

asking around looks like a 500mhz p3 will cost about £500
but if u just want something to wordprocess etc on you can get a range of 2oommx->p2 300 for well under £300
200mmx i have seen for as low as £145 in the past.
