SwinLAN 07 Is on it's way! The summery, though most likey "wet" month of July will be graced with gaming goodness! Same drill as always, however on Saturday I am trying to get a BBQ organised so we can chillout in the sun! while we take a break from gaming....*cough* Also make sure you look your best for the press!! SwinLAN 07 is going to be big!

Special guest! An appearence from the world famous CEILING CAT!

The venue will again be Goatacre Village Hall, Wiltshire.

There will be 35 BYOC spaces! Pricing as follows:

General Details : SwinLAN 07

Dates: 10:30pm Friday 2nd - 7:00pm 4th July 2010.

Venue: Goatacre Village Hall, Goatacre Lane, Calne, Wilts SN11 9JA

Timings: The hall will be open for PC setup from 22:30

Power: There will only be 2 power sockets allocated per person. These should be used for your PC and Monitor, the hall has limited power and therefore power consumption must be kept to a minimum. Depending on attendance, more may be allocated.

Dedicated Servers - left 4 dead & COD 4/MW 2


Competitions:

TrackMania Cup - With Cash prizes and Crucial Sponsorship prizes

COD 4 OR Battlefiled BC2 - With Cash prizes and HOPEFULLY Sponsorship prizes


Facilities:

There are local shops and takeaways in Lyneham which is literally 2 minute drive.

Kitchen:

Microwave and fridge the cookers are NOT to be used.

Basic Showers

Licenced Bar:

**This will mean you cannot bring your own booze** Any booze brought in can be and most likely will be confiscated by the hall. It's their license. The bar will be open Saturday night and possibly Sunday afternoon.

Car Parking: Lots of Space

Floor Sleeping space - airbeds permitted, trust me it's better than the floor. *The Upper Floor must NOT be used for sleeping**

Other Entertainment: Dart Board,Pool Table,Bar, guitar Hero, Lips.

File Sharing: Please turn file sharing off. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Patches will be made available via an FTP


Checklist - To Bring List:

PC of sufficient spec to play all the games you wish to play. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY THE GAMES ON THE LIST, PLAY WHAT YOU WISH!

Monitor.

Power Cables. (Just kettle leads, we will supply power strips and reels)

Remember, only 2 Power sockets available per person....personal power extensions will be not permitted.

Keyboard and Mouse.

Original Games.

Headphones. (No Speakers)

OS/Recovery Software......just in case.

Sleeping Gear, i.e, roll matt, sleeping bag etc

Personal hygiene gear, i.e Deodryhant/Anti Perspirant/Soap/Towel etc.....nobody wants to be sitting next to a stink fest!!

Food, Normal and microwavable...remember the cookers are out of bounds.

Fully recommend this small and friendly LAN for anyone who is in the Wiltshire area and wants a fun weekend of meeting like minded mature gamers.
